Managing Deliverables and Assessing the Health of the COB&R Program

THE ISSUE

With five different contractors working on the Coordination of Benefits & Recovery Program (COB&R), CMS found it difficult to manage deliverables and assess the contributions and risks associated with each of the individual contractors.

THE RESULT

In our role as the Medicare Secondary Payer Integration Contractor (MSPIC), NHA developed and implemented a SharePoint-based automated deliverable tracking system, enhancing CMS’s ability to monitor contractor performance and program health efficiently.
