OUR SUCCESS STORIES

Instructing Medicare Administrative Contractors on Medicare Cost Reports

THE ISSUE

CMS needed to train Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) on auditing annual cost reports and reimbursement processes. Ensuring consistent and accurate training for both new and existing MAC staff was essential to maintain program integrity and effective oversight.

THE RESULT

NHA partnered with CMS to develop on-demand eLearning modules for MACs. These resources provided standardized, accessible training that strengthened audit accuracy and supported efficient reimbursement, benefiting both new hires and experienced staff.

Educating Insurers Across the Nation on Federal Reporting Requirements

THE ISSUE

NHA developed comprehensive, on-demand eLearning modules that enabled thousands of insurers nationwide to understand and meet federal reporting obligations. These resources continue to be used by the CMS, supporting ongoing compliance and program success.

THE RESULT

NHA produced CBTs to instruct thousands of insurers on the new mandatory reporting requirements. These CBTs are still in use by CMS to this day.
