NHA Receives New Contract to Continue as Evaluation & Oversight Contractor
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has awarded Neil Hoosier & Associates (NHA) a new 5-year contract to continue its work on the Evaluation & Oversight (E&O) contract.
Under the E&O contract, NHA reviews the Medicare appeals decisions made by the Qualified Independent Contractors (QICs) and Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and quality of the decisions.
NHA has been the prime contractor on the E&O contract since 2017 and was a subcontractor on the project prior to that.
Neil Hoosier & Associates is an 8(a) certified small business with more than 20 years of experience providing a range of healthcare program support services, including program management, SDLC support, program integrity, audit and training. It currently has multiple contracts with different programs at CMS as well as the state health agencies in New York and Maryland.
